“Grazie di tutto Miss West” is the new book written by Dario Janese. An Exciting novel whose cover is Andrea Aste’s painting “The Show of Life seen from the Trapeze”.
The book is very special; one of the character is inspired by Andrea Aste and the title itself has a very peculiar origin. Dario and I were talking about the book, at that time still to be finished, when, answering to Dario’s question, I quoted Mae West… in that very moment the book had its title “Thanks for everything Miss West”!(AA)
The painting is dedicated to Arturo Brachetti’s show “Gran Varietà“. Aste wanted to create a work of art free from the limitation of our rationality, able to capture the strong emotions and the magic of the show. Thanks to a very interesting discussion about creativity and art with Arturo Brachetti and Kevin Moore I decided to realize a technique I’ve never tested: drawing the sketches totally blindfolded. The result was unexpectedly interesting and I decided to transfer it on a canvas and paint it, with very few corrections (AA)
Andrea Aste created a series of cool graphics to make more… artistic your everyday life. Funny, intelligent, with a little spoon of irony. Personally I love the idea of having my t-shirt and my iPhone with the same message, the same … funny art!
Andrea is working on other projects to create what he calls “every day art”, that’s to say new way of expressing his overwhelming creativity, new way of transform every day objects in something more…interesting.
