Andrea Aste is a native of Turin Italy where he still resides as a working artist. In 2001 he received a Master's Degree in Philosophy of Language at the University of Vercelli (Italy).

While at university he became engrossed with the relationships of meaning and spatial deformations as applied to the media of paint, sculpture, and photography. Today, through his works, he continues to research the influences of cognition and categorization on artistic perception.
