"Interiors" are paintings depicting real places and rooms, with the every day objects scattered all over, in an apparent random way. Thus "Interiors" are psychological portraits of people through the places they live, their objects, their belongings.

Aste's rooms seem always in expectation of some ones return. The return of who, of what? a person, hope, an emotion, a dream? You don't know if the rooms have been left, quitted or are in a moment of limbo. It leaves me wondering, who or what just left. Who or what is expected. Though the rooms are bear of humans they are full of left behind reminders that some one was there.
