Bal(l)erà is an invented noun derived from the fusion of the Italian word “balera”, a public dance hall of the 50’s and “ballerà” the future tense of the Italian verb meaning to dance. Bal(l)erà recounts the rebirth of a shy young woman who discover herself and her freedom, through the music and the engaging with the others in an old balera.

It’s a tender and captivating journey into the 50’s era with evocative strong force.
